Wildcat Country

Our community

In a safe and supportive environment, scholars can explore their interests, find their passion, and develop the skills they need to succeed in school and life. Our school has acted as an oasis for our kids, providing a haven where they can grow and learn. We feel incredibly fortunate to have supportive parents and community members that are invested in the education of our scholars and supporting them as they reach their full potential.

“I’ve been a Wildcat for 20 years, so I can tell you we’re a family here. There’s a vibe - a feeling of love, support, and community that we all feel when we walk through those doors each day.”

– Wildcat Teacher

Local School Council (LSC)

Our Local School Council serves as the governing body of our school. It remains an important vehicle for participatory democracy, allowing not only educators but also parents, students, and community members the opportunity to make important decisions about how children in our community will be educated.

Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

We have a parent advisory council that meets monthly to learn about the policies and the different workings of the public school, as well as to provide updates and discuss issues affecting our students. This group comprises dedicated parents who want more information about what happens in the classroom to best support their child’s education goals!

Parents Matter

Each month we invite parents to school to discuss different topics. For instance, we talk about current school events, how their children are doing in this particular grade and school, and what they should be looking for when moving on from here? For example, is there a need for higher grades before transferring?
